Job Description: 

This position receives, stores and distributes materials and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare orders by processing requests and supplying orders. 

  • Pull parts off shelves (both by hand and with forklift). 

  • Pack boxes, prepare pallets, and prepare shipments. 

  • Load/unload truck. 

  • Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shipments, and goods used or shipped. 

  • Confer with Materials & QA personnel regarding inventory procurement and availability. 

  • Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of shipment. 

  • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes. 

  • Maintain safe and clean environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain clean shipping supply area. 

  • Other duties as requested. 

  • Responsible for continuous improvement (ideas and suggestions) 

  • Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations 

  • Responsible for following all CCP policies and procedures. 

Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms; hear and communicate. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and move objects up to 60 pounds, frequently move objects up to 200 pounds, and push/pull objects that weigh more than 1650 pounds with a pallet jack. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee must also be able to successfully complete the CCP Forklift Training and Certification course.
