Job Description: 

Responsible for various tasks that provide support and assistance to the molding department. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Supervise molding department. 

• Assign machine operators to jobs daily. 

• Ensure adequate tools are available to operators for each job. 

• Manage attendance sheets daily. 

• Prioritize daily tasks. 

• Drive communication meetings 

• Support molding department with quality related issues: Communicate, identify and address internal & external quality concerns with operators. 

• Manage and update key performance measures such as: Daily production reports, daily scrap reports, machine utilization 

• Assist in continuous improvement projects such as: scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, 5S (housekeeping) 

• On-going training 

• Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. 

• Perform other related duties as assigned. 

• Responsible for continuous improvement (ideas and suggestions) 

• Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations 

• Responsible for following all CCP policies and procedures. 

Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. 

Education and/or Experience: 

• Understanding of manufacturing environment and requirements 

• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.) 

• Experience in a similar position is ideal 

• Bi-lingual in Spanish is ideal.
