Job Description:
Responsible for the company-wide quality management system and all of its related activities to ensure compliance, effectiveness and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support and maintain all requirements for ISO 9001.
Maintain calibration program.
Manage all quality control inspection points (receiving, in-process, final, GP-12).
Maintain document control system.
Drive process improvements on the floor, reviewing issues daily and holding communication meetings.
Conduct internal audits.
Interview, hire & review performance for all Quality Department staff.
Early involvement in pre-production launch phase and full involvement into production phase.
Act as liaison between CCP and suppliers/customers and maintain strong relationships.
Establish and maintain comprehensive training program.
Ensure non-conforming product procedures are followed and disposition is determined in a timely manner, both internally & externally.
Ensure product traceability is in place for all products.
Lead in development and completion of all APQP, PPAP, IMDS & Process Instructions on time.
Drive team oriented problem solving and issue resolution.
Communicate, identify, and address customer quality concerns in a timely manner.
Review customer requirements and ensure that they are being met.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
College degree in related field and/or 3-5 years equivalent experience.
Computer literate with proficiencies in Word, Excel, and Project.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop strong relationships with both suppliers and customers.
Automotive background in the areas of quality would be ideal.
Working knowledge of injection molding process would be ideal.
Proficient with CMM programming would be ideal.
Bi-lingual in Spanish would be ideal.
