Job Description:
The preventative maintenance technician performs a variety of tasks involved in the upkeep of buildings, grounds and related structures, fixtures, and utilities.
The preventative maintenance Technician assists in repair and upkeep of CCP buildings and equipment by inspecting, cleaning, and making repairs or adjustments. The PM Technician is skilled working with repair of buildings and building equipment such as HVAC unit filters and belts, light fixture replacement, and painting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing assigned day-to-day facility maintenance and associated system tasks, including demand work requests, planned work tasks, and other assigned projects. Keeping management informed of the status of all work completed, in process or planned in a timely manner.
Performing troubleshooting and diagnosing problems on building systems.
Performing tasks, such as painting, repairing, installing, replacing…etc.
Performing minor maintenance and repairs on equipment and tools as required
Performing maintenance and repairs on the building’s exterior
Other related duties as assigned
Responsible for continuous improvement (ideas and suggestions)
Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations
Responsible for following all CCP policies and procedures.
Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
Requirements:
Must have good attendance.
Must demonstrate good judgment.
Must have mechanical knowledge, and demonstrate knowledge in the use of hand tools.
Will report to the maintenance supervisor.
Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
