Job Description:
Supervise internal and external quality related activities in accordance with policies and programs set forth by management and required by the customer. Reports directly to the Quality Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support for machine operators and assist in training new operators.
Perform In-Process inspections in assigned area for any visual defects, color and dimension issues.
Pull 1st and last shots from the presses.
Perform a line clearness after every mold/color change, assure that all sample boards and quality paperwork have been put away. Assure no old labels remain at the press.
Setup press with new mold information, sample board, operating instructions.
Assist supervisor with verifying labels and signing off the 1st labels and collecting the last label with the operator / Dispose of all scrap labels left after mold run is complete.
Check the product on pallets to ensure good parts, correct label placement, and stamp everything is correct.
Periodically responsible for throwing away retained parts that are over 6 months old.
Assist operators in understanding instructions, what is splay, shorts, packaging labeling.
Complete dimensional checks as required.
Bring any issues to the quality supervisor, supervisor on your shift, or manager’s attention.
When you are in doubt if a product is good or not, fill out a hold label and place it on the box in question, don’t put this box on the skid with good packed products.
Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsible for following all CCP policies and procedures.
Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
